ok, officially, im back and literally, im a housewife...
fine, first talk about hongkong... altough i suppose there will be tonnes of typo-errors, MUST FORGIVE, eh?
day one(9/11/2006): arrived at airport... took this airport expressand went to hong kong island... then walked through this VERY LONG tunnel to central MTR Station... sored my right and left arm... sniffs*... self-pity. xD. well, took the trian and hmm, sat on the bus supporting the luggage... i bet i look really pathetic then. hais... oh and hk school uniforms are like really creative... and to think we are crazy for anklesocks. they hk girls pull their socks up to knee level and look NICE in them. and then saw this group of guys... and so SHUAI! got tie and TROUSERS and polished POLISHED shoes!!!! aww, poor thing all the boys i know are so anyhow anyhow one... hais, singapore, JIAYOU ON DESGNING SCH UNIFORMS!! alighted at north point MTR Station and went to hotel... of course before that, strained my back CARRYING THE LUGGAGE UP THE STAIRS... it nearly KILLED ME!!!!!! then after that watched TV until i went to sleep... xD. oh and i think i did call YQ that day... hmm.
day two... went to meet the friend of my mum's and grandma's... and she and her husband brought me to Ocean Park. coincidentally, FIVE schools decided to go to Ocean Park the same day and the students were talking in grps of fours and fives and sixes and i got homesick cos that is the exact way i hang out with my friends back in singapore... but i still had a great time at Ocean Park... we were viewing sharks and jellyfishes... and in the jellyfish exhibiton had a lot of mirrors and then i was like walking to this girl with a cap and felt myself bump into her an di was thinking what a stupid girl who can't see... and then i realised that it was my REFLECTION!!!!!!! stupid eh? oh, got dolphin and seals and sealions shows and i got to feed the seals and sealions!!!!!!!! haha! and i nearly killed myself on a rollercoaster... went back to Auntie Zheng's hse and used the com. and then posted on our class blog and chatted with amanda. amanda practically yelled at me, literally cos we were MSNing. then we went to have dinner. the resturant was GIGANTIC... and on the way back to the hotel, i was a bit guity cos i spent so much of Auntie and Uncle Zheng's money. and they are retired so felt very bad but my mum said that that's how we shld treat our guests. so nxt time i have a guest, i must treat them like that. and i was nodding my head like siao...
day 3: SHOPPING!!!!!!! hahas... well, first went to Star Ferry Harbour or sth like that to take a ship to Kowloon cos the harbour was going to be moved to another place after that day... well, ahd this ice kachang at one of the shops. there is no better ice kachang!!!!! hahas. and i love mango ice kachangs lor... well, that day i bought two items lahr... but still... i think cheaper than those in singapore. and that was not the only shopping spree i had.
ok bought a pair of converse shoes at HKD200 (S$40)
a hard rock cafe shirt at HKD 140 (S$28)
shld be good bargains eh? well, walked myself todeath that day... when i reached home my feet were like numb with pain i think.
day 4... ermm... can't remeber really well... in the morning we went to the Half-Peak Escalator or sth and had wanton mee for breakfast which was delicious... then took the escalator and when we reached the top, we had to walk down and then my feet tired again... but in the end we still managed and ont the way went in to exhibit this Government hse where all inportant visitors (politicians) to hong kong stays... well, one thing is that they flowers there were amazing... and saw bamboos. and the bamboos were really fantastic. well, in the end we did get to take the Peak Tram to the top of the mountain... and so we went to the viewing area and looked down from it. and i was like WOW. the wind was so strong... hais, i had to push my specs in case they fell which was like pretty stupid? and my mum and i decided to go for a walk in the mountains and enjoyed the cool, refreshing wind in the mountians and i got really happy that i felt like i could hop around like a child and forget all pain and hurt and whatever... went for a grand dinner and got bloated...
day 5... DISNEYLAND! haahs! well, the disneyland is quite small and there are no rollercoasters or whatever... but ut does have what a disneyland shld have. makes u become a child again. makes u enjoy life without any worries... makes u laugh out the loudest you can... just like a child... and the fireworks were wow... oh well, as a summary, it was one of the lamest but best days i've ever had. HAHA.
day 6... went to a bookstore at the MTR station and bought a book called A Litre Of Tears... it's a real-life story of a girl who got this ailment and her struggle through it... the ailment cannot be cured(i dun think it is called ailment but i dun have any words to describe it right now... u see, my english is deproving like siao...) and it was really sweet and touching. after having lunch, took MTR to shen zhen, china... reached our hotel at 8m... so there wasn't much to do... so had to watch TV until i go to sleep again! hees. x)
day 7... another shopping spree... i guess china things are truly very cheap. cos i never saw my mum shop like that before. she practically went crazy...by the end of the day she was carrying really big shopping bags home... and yeah, she spent RMB2000. TWO THOUSAND EH???? although only S$ 400. but TWO THOUSAND OR FOUR HUNDRED, both are A LOT TO ME. i contributed RMB300 for two pairs of jeans but that was because my mum wanted me to buyy them... and all the time i was gaping at my mum choosing clothes, trying clothes, buying clothes... really, i NEVER, EVER saw my mum go crazy with shopping before. well, while my mum got crazy shopping for clothes, i got crazy shopping for DVDs. i bought Princess Hours for RMB35 which is only S$7. hahas, YQ. DO POUT! well, my mum ended up bankrupt and so we had to go back. if not, she could really go crazy and buy someomore... maybe it was lucky that she ran out of money, if not i might not accept a crazy mother like that...
well, besides jeans, i bought another book... HA. bookworm. forgive.
day 8... went back to hongkong and went to my mum's fren's hse. in the afternoon, we went to have tea with my mum's other friend... and i was to play with two little kids of 3. im ok with that, i guess... and they are really cute and they like me! AWWWW....
day 9... to airport... my mum got mad at me cos i forgot to say thank you to the friend who let us stay in her hse. but i really forgot!!! and ONE MINUTE BEFORE I BOARDED THE AIRPORT BUS, I WAS THINKING OF THANKING HER!!!!!!!! damn. well, did feel a bit unwilling to leave cos hongkong IS nice and there ARE a lot of things to shop for there!!! haha. xD.
and about the housewife thingy... my maid got her new employer so i have to do some of the housework. and so every morning wake up. have breakfast. wash my plate and bowl and sweep and mop the floor. oh and rmb to fold the blankets. after dinner, sweep and mop again if it really is dirty. and because i stay at home everyday, i become a literal housewife. amazing eh? a 12-year-old HOPUSEWIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pro sia...
hais...
